OASIS BATHROOM MURAL DECEMBER 2024 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA)
As part of the Oasis Arts Fund, we were chosen to paint up one of the larger bathrooms at the bar and put a fun party scene on the walls. Utilizing a cutout that had seen a lot of use around San Francisco and a flier design for an event that never occurred, the mural serves as a peek into the history of BEARPAD as well.
XMAS XPOSURE DECEMBER 2024 (CATHEDRAL CITY, CA)
BEARPAD returned to Cathedral City to add a little more fun to the yearly holiday gathering at CCBC in the form of the two bub inflatables and some cutout art from previous events.
LONE STAR SALOON DECEMBER 2024 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA)
The Lone Star Saloon requested a custom Santa design for the holiday season for the bar. BEARPAD provided the illustration while collaborators made it mural-sized and added digital animations projections, bringing Santa to life for the month.
BEARRISON STREET FAIR OCTOBER 2024 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA)
San Francisco’s hairiest street fair makes an effort to include art from the bear community, and we had the opportunity to install some pieces. The inflatable bubs took over the BAAAHS DJ stage, our chodestools made it to the main stage, and the disco lifter cutout was featured at the jockstrap deadlift competition.

WESTERN XPOSURE OCTOBER 2024 (CATHEDRAL CITY, CA)
The Halloween editions of Western Xposure featured a number of our holiday appropriate monster designs, returning to adorn the walkways of CCBC. One inflatable bub peered over the fence into the hot tub for a weekend.

EASTERN XPOSURE SEPTEMBER 2024 (AUGUSTA, GA)
We modified our intended outdoor art installation to work indoors, expecting that a storm may cause some problems for us. The storm turned into hurricane Helene, and the event was unfortunately cut short.

REHOBOTH BEACH BEAR WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 2024 (REHOBOTH BEACH, DE)
A connection at Bear Your Soul led to us making an unexpected stop in Rehoboth Beach. The inflatables popped up for dances and happy hours in the host hotel.

THE FROG SEPTEMBER 2024 (MASSACHUSETTS)
A friend asked us to create and install art for their social/sexual space that they called The Frog. We created a piece inspired by personal experiences with our host, as well as a mascot for the space.

BEAR YOUR SOUL AUGUST 2024 (GREENWICH, NY)
One of our goals as BEARPAD is to influence bear culture to be more body positive, inclusive, and art focused, and Bear Your Soul was the perfect opportunity for us to work towards that goal. We installed a couple inflatables that changed position and location throughout the weekend. We also ran a ‘dick decorating’ workshop, allowing participants of the bear retreat to created and decorate wooden cutout versions of their dicks (or their ideal dick, or however their genitals looked) and take it home with them. They also collaborated on a large-scale dick celebrating the community’s artistic talents.

BIG BEAR ROMP AUGUST 2024 (BIG BEAR LAKE, CA)
BEARPAD made a trip to Big Bear Lake, CA for a fun woodsy adventure at a local hotel. We installed a variety of inflatables that functioned both as a point of interest and celebration, and also as a shield from some hotel guests that were less than enthusiastic about the event. The inflatables set up on the outdoor cement area felt like a temporary sculpture garden.

LAZY BEAR AUGUST 2024 (GUERNEVILLE, CA)
BEARPAD returned to Lazy Bear to install art at the bonfire. We set up our inflatables and cutouts next to West Sonoma Inn for the weekend parties yet again, including the return of our largest piece, the archway leading to the hugging tree. We debuted a number of new pieces, including a bub lifting a dumbbell with rotating disco balls.

QUEERLANTIS JUNE 2024 (SANTA CRUZ, CA)
We brought some big bubs for their second outing to a fun party at the Cocoanut Grove put on by Santa Cruz Pride. We set up cutouts to make the party a little more fun and colorful. We also provided live visuals for a sickening drag performance, using a mix of live video and digital effects.
SOMETHING QUEER MAY 2024 (LAKE COUNTY, CA)
Commissioned art installation for this year's SOMETHING QUEER campout at Saratoga Springs Resort in northern California. Between two custom made inflatable bubs, we built a psychedelic firepit made from wood, disco balls, and LED lighting from below.
